Lifesaving defibrillators added to Yorkshire health centres

Community Ventures is all about improving life in the communities they serve, and it’s been fantastic to work with Community Health Partnerships to install defibrillators at Goldthorpe Centre and Hoyland Centre in Barnsley and Flying Scotsman and Heathfield Centre in Doncaster.

These defibrillators are housed in specially designed enclosures that have been installed on external walls at the health centres, so they’re available for anyone in an emergency.

Community Ventures’ Dayle Lynch, General Manager of Doncaster and Barnsley Estates Partnerships said:

“LIFT buildings were developed to sit at the heart of communities, providing services that meet the needs of the local population. It is fantastic to see these centres being used to support such an important initiative, increasing public access to vital lifesaving equipment. I’m thrilled that, through great partnership working with CHP, the LIFT companies in Barnsley and Doncaster have played their part in facilitating this benefit for the communities they work with.”
