Environment & Sustainability

We are committed to working with our public sector partners in reducing the environmental impact of their facilities.

Community Ventures is committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2040 and is committed to working with our public sector partners to help them achieve their targets too. We have produced our Carbon Reduction Plan based on a commitment to reducing our energy consumption, using renewable energy sources were possible, maximising the use of local suppliers, all helping to reduce our carbon footprint.  We will also monitor our employee business mileage and commuter travel, operating a flexible working pattern, a mix of office and home based working environment, which reduces travel cost and time for all our employees.

A copy of our Carbon Reduction Plan can be found on our Downloads page.

Community Ventures also offers a design service which can demonstrate and meet the BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard, as can be evidenced at many of our new-build sites which incorporate design innovation and environmentally-sound solutions.

Community Ventures also undertakes dynamic thermal modeling and energy assessments on existing estates to improve energy performance across our partners’ existing freehold and leasehold properties.
