Community Ventures strengthens its compliance certification

Community Ventures has strengthened its compliance certification, securing ISO 45001 and 14001.

One of this year’s targets for Community Ventures was to look at securing ISO 14001 and 45001 certification, recognising its importance not only when tendering for new business, but also as a way of improving business processes and our commitment to good compliance. Having held ISO 9001 quality management certification since 2011, adding the Health & Safety and Environmental certifications and creating a combined Integrated Management System was seen as a priority for 2023.

We’ve now had news that we’ve successfully managed to put together a system and framework of compliance which had passed the stringent audit process by NQA.

We were advised at the start of the process that it would usually take between 12 and 18 months to implement a system, but due to auditor commitments and availability, the team have managed to develop and evidence a system within just six months between Stage 1 audit in April and Stage 2 audit in August.

Well done to the team involved, especially Business Support Manager Vicky Jagger-Strangeway and Safety, Environment and Compliance Manager Matt Murphy.
