The perfect match for Community Ventures

Estates strategy, management and development company Community Ventures Management have announced they’ll be sponsoring the training kit for Thornaby FC women’s and girl’s teams.

The club, based in Stockton-on-Tees, suffered a devasting fire a couple of months ago, which caused £130,000 of damage to their clubhouse and equipment. Since then, the community they serve has rallied around to help them rebuild, showing their gratitude for all that the club gives the local area.

Community Ventures Area Director Emma Bolton said that they were inspired to help the club as they felt their sense of community aligned with the company’s values.

“Thornaby FC’s ground is just around the corner from one of our offices, so when we heard about the fire, we knew we had to help. We’ve seen how valuable they are to their local community, encouraging people of all ages and abilities to come together, be active and play sports.

We think the team are the embodiment of our mission – to improve life in the communities we serve. That’s why we’re going to sponsor the training wear for seven of the women’s and girl’s teams, giving them a chance to get back out on the pitch.”

Thornaby FC Women are members of the North East Regional Women’s Football League. Playing at Teesdale Park at Thornaby, on the outskirts of Stockton-on-Tees, they have seven different teams, including both women and girls teams. Learn more about Thornaby FC Women.
