Leodis Community Ventures Ltd
The creation of a unique Joint Venture Company between Community Ventures Leeds (Leeds LIFTCo) and Leodis Care Limited (a clinical services provider company) managed and run by 30 GP Practices in East and South Leeds. A unique joint venture and a first of its kind between a LIFTCo and a group of GPs.
Community Ventures were selected after careful consideration, successfully beating a number of high profile organisations. Our approach to long term partnership working and our successful track record to date and excellent reputation at a local and national level with the healthcare sector made use their preferred partner to form the Joint Venture Company.
On the 3rd April 2008, Community Ventures Leeds Ltd, Primaria, Community Health Partnerships and Leodis Care Limited entered into a Joint Venture Company, established to provide strategic estate solutions to the GP owned estate, made up of 30 GP Practices with 38 properties within the East and South East Leeds area.
The aims of the Joint Venture is to rationalise, improve and where appropriate replace the 38 properties that form the estate of Leodis Care to support their existing and future commissioning and service development plans.

Through our partnering arrangements we have to date been able to undertake a comprehensive estate assessment of their 38 properties using the NHS 6 facet surveys. This coupled with the service planning and commissioning activities in which we are involved has started to develop a vision for the future and an estate strategy and investment plan.
The Board have agreed priorities for investment which are now being worked through in detail.
