First Joint Service Centre To Open It's Doors
A grand opening of the state-of-the-art £5m Joint Service Centre (JSC) combining council and health facilities in Harehills will take place on Monday 12th July. The new centre, know as the Compton Centre, includes a Job shop, a new larger library, Primary Care Mental Health Team, and a new customer services team providing help and advice on benefits, council tax, housing, social acre, environmental-related issues and Leeds Credit Union enquiries.
The historic frontage of the old Compton Road library has been preserved and a new modern complementary extension constructed.
