Staff @ Yeadon Community Health Centre commented: "The difference between our old premises and the new Yeadon Community health Centre is remarkable. A bright, clean, spacious environment which is both staff and user friendly. I now have designated space where patients can be treated in comfort and privacy. I also have scope to extend the service as well as supervise student therapists or clinical placements."

Labour MP for Elmet, Colin Burgon officially opened the purpose built £9m Wetherby Health Centre on 1st October 2008, said: "I am delighted to have been invited to officially open the Wetherby Health Centre….When I became an MP in 1997 I flagged the poor state (of the old Wetherby Health Centre) of it up and said it was no longer fit for purpose…after a long gestation period we finally got to where we are today and this new centre will serve generation after generation of Wetherby people from across the district….It’s a great asset to the community."

Rt Hon Hilary Benn MP, said: "I am delighted to have been invited to officially open the East Leeds Health Centre. This new building provides high quality, local care in an outstanding modern environment. It’s a great asset to the community and brings 21st century care to all the people of East Leeds and the neighbouring areas."
